The Orisha are a pantheon deities worshipped by the Yoruba people of West Africa. They were originally divine spirits who incarnated as earthly human-like beings and became heroes of their people. These supernatural entities usually referred to as deities are actually emanations or avatars of the supreme being Olodumare.
