Florida Fighting Conch

Look for an attractive thick orange-brown conch with darker brown blotches. The Florida Fighting Conch sometimes shows light tan blotches over creamy white. Knobs may be present on larger whorls. The interior is darker brown with a wide, thick lip bearing a distinct indentation near the posterior end and slight ribs.
