Coral Fossil Tumbled Stone Large 1pc

We have beautiful nice size pieces of tumbled fossil coral from Indonesia. The polishing allows the complex fossilized structure of the coral to be seen.

This coral fossil is approximately 20 million years old and are the remains of ancient reefs thrust up into the mountains by the collisions of tectonic plates. As these corals fossilized, the original organic material was replaced by silica, iron, manganese, and other minerals.

The pieces vary in size.

The photos are representative of what the tumbled material looks like but being a natural stone it varies in color, patterning, shape, and size.
