Here are some common ways you can use bergamot oil:

Aromatherapy: Diffuse bergamot oil in an essential oil diffuser to create a calming and uplifting ambiance in your home or workspace. Inhaling the aroma can help reduce stress, anxiety, and promote a positive mood.

Holistic Massage: Dilute a few drops of bergamot oil in a carrier oil, such as coconut or jojoba oil, and use it for a relaxing and aromatic massage. Its soothing properties can help ease muscle tension and promote relaxation.

Holistic Bathing: Add a few drops of bergamot oil to your bathwater for a refreshing and invigorating bath experience. It can help relax your mind and uplift your spirits while benefiting your skin.

Room Spray: Create a DIY room spray by combining bergamot oil with water in a spray bottle. Use it to freshen up your living spaces or to promote a relaxing atmosphere.

Stress Relief: Inhale bergamot oil during times of stress or tension to help calm your nerves and promote relaxation.

Remember to perform a patch test before using bergamot oil topically and ensure that you use a carrier oil when applying it to the skin. Additionally, bergamot oil is photosensitive, so avoid direct sunlight after applying it to the skin to prevent potential skin sensitization. Always follow safety guidelines and consult with a qualified aromatherapist if you have any concerns or specific health conditions.

Linalyl acetate: > 20%
Linalool: > 8%

Plant Part: Fruit Peel

Origin: Italy

Processing Method: Cold Pressed

Aromatic Summary / Note / Strength of Aroma: The aroma is basically citrus, yet fruity and sweet with a warm spicy floral quality, and is reminiscent of Neroli, giving a middle note of medium strength.

Product Abstract: The Bergamot tree can grow up to four meters high, with star-shaped flowers, and smooth leaves, bearing citrus fruit resembling a cross between an orange and a grapefruit but in a pear-shape. The fruit ripens from green to yellow. The name Bergamot is derived from the city Bergamo in Lombardy where the oil was first sold. In this variety, the bergaptene content which causes photosensitivity has been removed. This allows the Bergamot to be used in skin and hair care formulations without concern for phototoxicity after exposure to the sun.

This essential oil may contain phototoxic properties and it is suggested to avoid exposure to the sun after application to the skin. Dilute well before use; for external use only. May cause skin irritation in some individuals; a skin test is recommended prior to use. Contact with eyes should be avoided.

It is recommended that oils packaged in metal containers (for safe shipping) be transferred into dark glass containers to maintain freshness and attain maximum shelf life.
