Eucalyptus leaf is harvested from an evergreen tree in the myrtle family. Native to Australia and Tasmania, the species is also known as Australian fever tree and Tasmanian blue gum tree.
The leaf and bark of the tree have a long history of use by the Aborigine people of Australia, who also use the wood to make a tall wind instrument called a didgeridoo.
